ever noticed how everything has a clock?
there so many appliances and electronics with clocks on them, why is that? are people that obsessed with time? is it just a cheap lazy thing that engineers can add on to increase price and prohit margins? what? whats the deal? i dont even use my clock or my watch cause everything else tells me the time anyway

What time is it now???
I probably got 6 clocks that I walk by in 3 rooms of my house every day, and none of them are set at the same time..... :?

Alot of things like VCRs, DVRs, and cable boxes actually have to have a built-in clock to do their jobs.
Other things like microwaves, ovens, and even coffe-makers have timers built in that do nothing else when they are not in use, so why not use the circuitry to run a clock?

I have not worn a watch in 20 years (serious) there'* clock everywhere you look.
I think its just a cheap easy option that adds value to just about everything, especially when you dont wear a watch
