Ummm, why am I only hearing about this engagement now??? I am only kidding, congratulations, fantastic news. I hope we get to meet her. Anyway, I can honestly say that you are perfectly normal. It is a big decision to spend the rest of your life with one person, but when you get it right it is wonderful. And so long as you look and don't EVER touch, not a big deal.

Were I to draw an anology with buying a car (please ladies of the list, do not pelt me with rotten tomatoes) I would compare it to the moment when you are about to sign the car loan...and start wondering if you really like the color of the car...or do you really want a manual transmission instead of the automatic...etc..etc..etc. In your mind you know you are making a life altering commitment.

I thought this was a joke.... 'Develop a tendency to look at the opposite sex'??? the problem comes when you develop a tendency to look at the same sex.
