Early B-day Gift
Well I knew something was up early on in the week cause my dad called me to see what city I was in and when I would be home. He then called the next day and asked me to pick something up for his pontoon boat to test the motor.
Then today he called me a couple times to see where I was and what time I would be home. He wanted to pull the pontoon boat out and test the engine and whatnot. Only thing is that I know for a fact that boat is not moving till they get a boat lift installed at the cottage.
So I finally get home to find out my parking space has been taken......by an early B-day gift.
Sorry the pics are at night, I will get more in daylight.
It'* a 1997 Naden 16 Foot Aluminum boat. Was bought new in 1997 as a package ( boat, motor, trailer) and was about 10,000$ back then.
What you don't see in the pictures in the electric down rigger and the Eagle Fish Finder I also got with it.

ON that note, I forgot to make a post the the Bonneville got broken into last night. They broke into 3 vehicles parked in her driveway.
Them bastards stole some change and her subway stickers, so much for that free footlong sub I was waiting for, lmfao.
No damage to the car either but I am putting a car alarm in it this weekend.

When you get me a job like yours, I can bring it down with me when I move there, lmfao.
Actually you can come up to my parents cottage, it is about 1,400 sqft and there is supposed to be good fishing right on their lake.

Those Yamaha'* are great motors too. I think ours is a '87 40 HP, and the only thing that has ever been done to it is replace the water impeller thing (sucks in water to cool the motor). Thing runs great.

Actually they are pretty harsh up here for drinking on the water. Even if the driver is not drinking he can still get charged, just like driving a car. So no beer while fishing.
