16 ehh...dont you have to register for the selective service when your 18 and only then can you be called for jury duty because your name will be put into a database of 18 years or older? :?

I heven't been call but once since I left the department of corrections. I used to show up in uniform whenever I got called when i was still working there

I was sent a card to report for the "casting call" but I called up the courts and polietly explained that i couldn't serve cause I'm Canadian. I had to fax proof and thought that was that but only a few months later, I was sent out another card. You'd think they would have kept that on file but apparently not. Wife had two trips for interviews but neither went to trial.
