Just turned it on for the first time. Set it for 500*F

10sec ((((( 10 SECONDS ))))) its at the Temp


Its really f'ing nice

Now to buy some more tips

Having been a tech for many years, Weller is all I would recommend. Don't forget to tin the tip before you shut it off and pick up a smal can of flux to help keep it clean.

Just some LED mods and stuff... not that i have a nice soldering iron to use... the ideas are endless.. until the money runs out

and the first mod i just did with my CB was take out the Blue LEDs i had in it and put Red ones in so it matched my bonnie

weller is nice but i still want a metcal

Pace is the cream of the crop. But Weller will get most of it done IF you have a good selection of tips like a certain un-named Admin.

Bandit, LED'* are cheap and with the sho-me flasher, the possibilties are endless
