Drivers License Suspended as of Oct. 2nd
So i sold my 84 camaro z28
Well the day after i sold the car, one of the wheels fell off and hit a parked car.
NOw i got a letter in the mail saying that as off Oct. 2nd my license will be suspened due to the accident that i was in. I was not in an accident, my car that i sold the day before was. ihave the bill of sale saying that it was sold the day before the accident and the title. Now i have to talk to my insuarnce agent and my lawyer (nice to have a mom in a layers office). The total damage done to the car was $3,175. I aint gonna pay it since it wasnt my that did it and it wasnt my car any longer. Any advice for me.

Apparently one of his friends was driving the car and the wheel just feel off.
I think that he was messing around in the car.
The person i sold the car to is an ex-employee of mine. I still have to tell him about this letter.
When 9 o clock rolls around this is the only thing i am going to work on till its resolved

Good luck. I work for a lawyer to, and I think that bill of sale should be good. Unless they try to come after you cause you sold it then it happened, like you shouldn't have sold it in that condition. But, since you have an attorney, you should be fine.

Aside from the car not being yours anymore, why would they suspend your license for an accident?? Last time i checked you had to be drunk or irresponsible or SOMETHING to lose your license.

Ask Boosty. He should know. I think his bumper got hit by a wheel at some point. After that something happened in the engine bay.
