Guys...this should clear this up:
Average miles per year: 15,000
Average MPG (conservative est.): 25
Average price delta for Premium: $0.20
Gallons used for 15,000 miles of driving: approx. 600
PER YEAR COST OF RUNNING PREMIUM OVER REGULAR: $120
That is a tiny number! Most of you spend more than that on beer in a month. I am blessed to live near a shell that has "super tuesdays" and takes 6 cents off per gallon of premium when you fill up on tuesdays. so my cost is even less. stop risking your car and just put premium in for crying out loud!

Average MPG (conservative est.): 25
Average price delta for Premium: $0.20
Gallons used for 15,000 miles of driving: approx. 600

Shell gasoline in the past has caused issues with GM fuel sending units. More than once. It'* caused by an additive that they use occasionally. I won't run Shell in either of my cars.

We will not run Shell fuel in Bone Evil, only Chevron. And yes we only put the highest octane in her as well. That was one of the first things that PDad taught me about the car. Plus of course only the best for my beauty
