BACK ON TOPIC: I used to know all my cousins and visited frequently...as we have all grown older, we seem to have fallen out of touch

Yep. Two half cousins on my dad'* side: Matt and Andrea; one half aunt: Sue (and her husband Jeff). 6 cousins on my mom'* side: Jennifer, Danny, Josh, Paul, John, and Megan; and two step cousins: Janele and Amanda; two uncles: Bill (and his wife Elizbeth and ex-wife Marina) and Bob (and his wife Judy).

I know I have one cousin I have never met. There might be another one or two. I don't know any of my second cousins.

I've got so many cousins I can't even name them all. My dad had 9 brothers and sisters. They each begat anywhere from 2 to 4 children. My mom had 2 brothers and a sister. I don't know but a handful of my cousins.

Jeff has a lot of cousins he doesn't know from his dad'* side also. Times were different when I was a kid. The families use to get together alot and have cookouts, parties, etc.

Y'all know what'* weird, when you have a crush on a girl and then find out she'* your first cousin.

It'* common in the South. The woman I work with just found out recently that she is related to the boss somewhere down the line and she'* worked for him for 28 years. Everyone seems to be related to each other, especially in smaller towns.

Still makes you want to beat yourself up.
