Nextel has a good thing going with their push-to-talk service. Verizon has tried it and came up with "push-to-wait". This was a phrase coined by two former Verizon account executives who now work for Cingular.
In my area though, they are not a viable competitor due to lack of coverage. I guess we'll just have to see how this NASCAR sponsership changes that, if at all.

Dude, I thought you meant sooooo many other things...
Anyway, I use Alltel, the only company that actually has coverage in the area. The other say they do, they lie.

I HAD Cellular One, but they were just bought out by AT&T Wireless. Twice as many towers, and better features now, and to top it off, I get AT&T discounts because I work for HP. 25% off all rate plans, 50% off all phones and accessories from the store or web, and free CW, CID, LD, etc.
NOW.....Cingular is in the process of buying out AT&T Wireless. I'm hoping I get rollover minutes added to my account
