Come now Twist...CNN can be bad, but FOX news is tabloid bad...all the "news" reporters are a sketch

I'll take American news from Miles O'Brian and Wolf Blizter before I listen to Geraldo Rivera and Bill O'Reilly!

You gotta take both in, consider their points, and then come to your own conclusion.

I don't consider Fox News like a tabloid, yes they do seem to dramatize a lot of things, but it doesn't change the news. I don't personally care for many panel discussions unless both sides are present on any network.

I watch headline news cause it'* fast, and sports center cause it'* got important info, and it'* good comedy

Sorry, I just dont like cry babies. Which CNN rubs off on me like. Fox news, obviously is owned by Fox, and there is a lot of people on that channel that dont give a **** what anyone else thinks and more blunt than usual. I mean, what do you expect from a company that brings you Cops and Worlds Scariest Police chases? Fox is a reuptable source as both of them report the same events in the world but with different opinions behind them. All news sources is bad unless its Sportscenter. Its rather interesting listening to this conversation.

There is a hypothesis out there that some scientists/smart guys think is true. For every action that happens on this world there is another Earth that does the opposite decesion. So lets say America did nothing after 9/11, what would it be like today? I can pretty much gurantee you that the same people would be pissed at us for sitting on our *** and not doing anything. And its not like we go out starting fights, because Cuba would of been free by now. When a country has this much power for this long, there tends to be a bulls eye on it. When a good nation like the U.*. does something like this, people tend to find a way to make it a bad thing, while War lords in Africa are still corrupting their citizens and the China dictatorship is killing innocent lives, just because they feel like it. And IMO one reason Americans are so blinded by their own way of living and dont know much about other countries (like your post earlier) is because they get sick and tired of all the whinning and say screw it.

You have to understand "The Deal" Rupert Murdoch and the Bush Admin. have. He can now own nearly EVERY major media outlet in your area (FCC ownership rule changes pushed through by Mikey Powell ..... you know Collins boy). In exchange Faux will say whatever Karl Rove wants them to say. Straight up swap, your right to know for Murdoch'* Billions. Fair Deal don't ya think

All I ask of a media source at this point is that if they are going to present material other than the out and out facts, they are intelligent enough to realize when they have a bias, understand what that bias is, and they admit to it. I mainly get angry when material is presented as unbiased news or "the truth" and it'* just some idiot'* one-sided idea of what'* going on.

I agree Miami! I also think that the news has shown us too much of the war, etc. War isn't pretty, it is brutal and ugly and people are going to get hurt. The media is all over that showing us every last detail. Like someone else here said before- they don't show the good that we have done just the bad. Anyone can be painted to be a saint or a sinister with a one-sided portrayal.
