I always vote. On the road this week, submitted absentee ballet last week. You don't have to like the candidates to vote for someone. It'* ok, there were 80 million others who voted.

I think so, and even if it wasn't, they urged Allen not to demand a recount for the fact is there was no way in heck that almost 7,000 ballots would have been miscounted or misplaced.

Yeah, just saw on CNN. Said that instead of the process taking weeks, it would be finished tomorrow, since there was no indication of major inconsistencies in the vote. Kudos to Tester for winning his seat, a Democratic senator in Montana seemed unlikely!

On the contrary, a third party vote is a vote of no confidence in the current political trends.

Believe it or not, while your media does a disservice by not reporting anything on third party numbers and platforms, the two major parties do monitor third-party voting levels as sort of a satisfaction barometer. Many times one party or the other co-opts a plank or two from a third-party platform as it sees the need and potential.

A political system can only be as strong as the citizens it represents and it will only be as diverse as people'* strong beliefs and their votes make it.

Not a real rant here, but you probably get it that I feel strongly about it, huh?

Dear God, that was pretty much my Tuesday, too. Only I absentee'd, and, living in Ohio and all, I felt good knowing that I helped contribute to the outcome!

Oh, and no, I didn't sword fight that day, haha.
