what is that shield that is attached to the hood (or is it) over the K&N?
Bonnie94, i asked Ty for red silicone reducers, he said it shouldnt be a problem. It might not be ready until next week but at least it'll be ready.
I plan on getting the heat wrap for it anyway, so it will only be exposed like once a year at a car show.
Im trying to find a water injection system now.

Nytro, how much was Ty'* that he'* making for you? You said it'* a longer pipe? I think I'd like the red silicone reducer. (I still want Hector'*) Also, can he make them for a series 1 engine? I know the ones on his site are marked "series 2."

yup, its for the series I.
i just went out and measured frm the TB how much pipe i wanted, got out the protractor and figured up an angle for the bend, then the rest of the pipe is like 14" and bends down and to the right towards the right fenderwell if looking at it installed. I dont know how its gonna fit yet, but its an inch or 2 longer on both sides of the bend so i can trim it to my specs.
It is more expensive running at 225ish.
the DIS 4! i cant find a place under the hood yet so i just have the coils on for now. I either need a bracket fabricated or its going inside. The reason why i cant do inside yet is b/c i neeed to extend the wires and didnt have a soldiering gun yesterday.
I found a good spot for it but its under the airbox, so if i wanna mount it their i have to wait for the intake pipe.
I got a month to think aboot it now, suddenly im not in a hurry.
