Deer Damage...
So I thought I'd show you guys who don't already know how much damage a deer can do to a car at 35 mph. I hit one that shot out in front of me on November 2, and it did $3000 in damage. Here are some damage shots:
As you can see, the outer headlight was fine, but the interior lenses were completely destroyed.
As you can see, zip ties saved my bumper from falling off! The best invention ever...
The paint flaked off very quickly...
When the deer hit, it somehow forced the front left fender panel underneath the door, so I couldn't open the door more than a few inches. I ended up removing the fender myself, banging it flat as much as I could, and reinstalling, just so I could open my door! The car was damaged from the date of impact to the day after Thanksgiving, when it finally was finished being repaired.
And here are shots the day I got it back:
And don't forget -- that was just a 35mph impact! Imagine if I'd been going faster...
BTW - if anyone wants to see more shots (or larger ones of the ones I posted), you can check them out at http://www.ragingfish.com/deer

Elaborating on Christine'* post, it'* basically a whole bunch of white Bonnevilles being involved in accidents - a bit more than a coincidence, if you ask me.

Guess it could have been a lot worse,...I've seen cars that hit deer and the deer flopped up on the hood and through the front windshield.
It appears that whoever fixed your car, left an unusually large gap between the hood and the fender, can even see it better in the side view,....hood sticking up above the fender?!?
