looked in my local trader today and what do I find, 2000 & up Aroura'* for as little as 12000 dollars!
I don't know about tha rest of u but that'* a very good deal, I guess because Olds is goin outta business (I don't see how somebody tell me!) anyway a damn near new olds V8 sounds a little more tempting than a new school over priced SLE-SSEI, Auroua'* to me always has been a top tier with bonnevilles, and them bein so cheap and kinda havin tha SE look with wayyyy more buttons I wouldn't mind switchin over for that kinda deal and luxury let me know what u think and if u would consider somethin like that.
It'* Mista,

Well.. even though it may appear to be a good price.. what odes that mean hoever when Olds are finally cancelled ?? I too have heard of them going under. You would then have to think if parts are then readily available and if they would cost more simply cause there'* less out there.

Nice car, great price.
I wouldn't worry about it. Olds isn't going under, it is being phased out. GM ins't going away anytime soon, and they'll still have to make parts long enough to honor the warranties they have. Mechanically, you are probably set for the foreseeable life of the car. It will be the little things that become scarce, like trim and body panels.

GM is required to provide parts for every car for a certain number of years after the last manufacturing date. FTC requirements. Same thing for all manufacturing companies. Besides that, there are other companies that will make parts as long as there'* a market. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Olds. I've owned a few. Besides my SSEi, an Olds was the best car I ever owned.
