I'd wait... If he was given till the 14th then let him have it... really, what could you do now that you couldn't do in a week. Not much really. plus, if you go down there and any problem arrises that could possibly mess with the BBB helping you out.

I'm thinking I should wait too, I just really want to confront this guy (peacefully). I sent him an e-mail earlier tonight through his website, telling him I'm still waiting for reimbursement, and that I will not let this issue go.

He replied to my e-mail I sent last night:
He'* so full of it. He cannot even do simple math. May 14 to January 14 is 8 months. He says he had it for 10.
I spoke to you and told you that I have an additional key for you vehicle as well as I would pay for a new set of window shades. I do not know what happen to your floor mats, I asked my detailer about them and he did not remember there being floor mats in this vehicle. I have access to new ones and will send them to you. The actual milage based on my paper was 662 miles from the time you left the vehicle, which was also 10 months. I had numerous customers look at and test drive the vehicle. We use a 18 mile loop on our test drives. I do not find this excessive for 10 months being on my lot. The fact that I told you I would correct the outststanding issues and you filed a complaint with the BBB will not help in this matter. The BBB cannot do anything for you other than contact me which I already filed my answer. NO NEGATIVE FILE WITH THE BBB UPON MY ANSWER!
I will forward your keys and mats shortly.

This was my response to him.
It definitely sounds like he was shocked to get a BBB complaint. He made no attempts at resolving the issue. So I took action. Plain and simple. I hope he dropped a deuce in his drawers.
I did the math too, and yes, even 37 people test driving it is pretty significant with NO phone calls to me from interested buyers. I doubt he has an 18-mile loop, but regardless:
1. If someone drives a car in perfect condition for 18 miles you think they would be interested in making an offer. Afterall, they would have to have some kind of interest in the car to even drive it anyway.
2. If it was driven 662 according to him, there are 525 miles unaccounted for by his own words. That'* pretty unprofessional IMO. I sure don't have a reason to lie about the mileage.
He said he filed his answer with the BBB already, but I have not heard from the BBB yet, so he must not have. I like how he said "NO NEGATIVE FILE WITH THE BBB UPON MY ANSWER." I don't even know what he really means by that, since his grammar is pathetic for a businessman. I wonder if he thinks if he tells the BBB he will make things right that he'* off the hook. I will have to be satisfied before he'* off the hook IMO.
Hi Dave,
I filed a complaint because you had not gotten back to me on a simple question about the floor mats. It had been over a week and you showed no signs of trying to resolve this. I left a message and you failed to call me back again. Saying you'll resolve this is one thing, but you didn't take any action to do so.
My car was on your lot from May 14 (Mother'* Day) to January 16 (8 months). The mileage when I dropped it off was exactly 43,100. The contract we signed shows this as well. The mileage when I picked it up was 44,287. I do not care so much about the miles, but it was not driven only 662 miles.
Attached is my receipt for the window visors.

Well today I get an e-mail from the BBB. He was supposed to respond to them by yesterday.
In his last e-mail to me, he said:
HE DID NOT respond to the BBB. In their e-mail I got today, they had NOT heard from him.
I can't believe this guy thinks I'm stupid! It'* been a week, still no keys or floor mats. I swear this guy is getting a visit from me very soon.
