Now wait a second...everyone is always SO FAST to claim "black mold" on anything gross looking that'* black. How can anyone be certain that'* black mold? Have any of you guys tested it? It could simply be mildew.

As a fellow landlord, I get so sick of people screaming "black mold" constantly. It'* the latest and greatest catch phrase.

thats not bad at all. I can see there is a door there. does it go to the outside?
if so its just common rain leak. nothing to worry about.
the wood they use for carpet tacks is really thin and wouldn't take much at all to turn color like that.

maybe the worms just came in for the night.
get good some insect spray and you should be good.

Yes, that looks like mildew. While mildew IS a black colored mold, it'* not THE black mold that everyone is scared of now. Especially since that spot is right by the door, I wouldn't worry about that. That'* a door that leads outside, right?

Buy some ant killer that they take back to the colony and kill them all. It really works. I had ant problems before. Cute little creatures.
