hrm... well there is a problem there, I cannot even get the computer running long enough to load windows before it freezes...

if safe mode doesnt work, then run scan disk before windows starts up. usually there good to fix minor headache problems temporarily, but load up XP if you can

Um, i dont know exactly off the top of my head but try...
hit F12 or tab or one of the other F buttons once the computer boots up, and look around in the menu sections
boot to the ME CD or floppy disk...that might help you out and might have a feature to repair windows

Ok, F8 did not open safemode or a menu where I could access safemode, but scandisk booted up and froze....
um, if you tried booting to the cd allready then get a big hammer and smack it. from what i am hearing sounds like another ME Os has gone bad
You can always try resetting the Bios, but i doubt that will do anything.
