Computer Audio Question
Simple, I have the original sound card in my computer still, and I have always gotten that annoying interference in the backround sounds, cackling and what not as you open programs and load programs. I am finally sick of it.
What will fix this?
And don't tell me a smaller pulley

just throw a pci sound card (even a cheap one from wallys world) in and disable the onboard. Much better quality than the C-Media or Soundmax integrated.
The same goes for if it is a PCI sound card

Is the crackling and interference constant and does it come from all the speakers? How many speaker do you have? Does it happen if you're just playing a music CD? Before you throw money into a new sound card, try using headphones instead of speakers (plugged into the same jack the speakers are in), and make sure your sound card drivers are up to date. If it is a time for a new sound card, they're typically not that expensive.
