also, I have an eraser wheel for my cordless drill. That stripe will be gone in no time ( if that is what he wants )

no no, no ones presuring me into anything here... i never was a huge fan of stripes and it just seems to me that this color combo is terrible. don't know why someone would have chosen it... anyhow, only thing i'm worried about it that it will leave a shadow on the paint, like color fade...

When I took the stripes off the replacement parts for my '93, there was a SMALL amount of shadow, but after a month it was gone. Even the little bit of shadow that was there was almost impossible to see unless you were really looking for it hard.

My 98 has some marks on it from when I took my stripes off. Could it hurt if we ever meet up and ran something over it to see if they will come off?

Have you tried Meguiars Scratch X on it? What about buffing it out?
