Christmas in SLC...56k worth the wait, I hope...
My daughter plays her violin in the lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building this time every year. When she'* done we go out and see the lights in Temple Square. It was snowing lightly and I took a few pics. Thought you might enjoy these.
This is the LDS Temple in Salt Lake City:

I liked the colors in this one by the Assembly Hall:

And the coup de gras. You may or may not know, but much of Utah, Idaho, Nevada, was once covered by a massive lake called Lake Bonneville (hence the Bonneville Salt Flats, Bonneville High School, etc. here in Utah). I discovered the Bonneville Room, a large meeting room, in the Joseph Smith Building, which used to be the Hotel Utah. There'* a couple large plaques identifying the room - this is one of them:
