How do I keep this little weiner from digging holes in the carpet? He'* already dug three holes, which we have placed heavy objects on top of, cause he keeps going back to them, trying to dig at them.

my dog did that too... almost had him put down for it...

have u tried the pet stay off chemicals?

We got some spray stuff. Smells like nail polish remover. Works for a while. I respray any time he goes back.

Another thing you can do is keep a spray bottle handy with water, and make sure you put it on stream not spray. Anytime he even tried to start, spray him, believe it or not that will work on just about any dog or cat.

Does he have lots of toys available to occupy his time and chewing habit? I've NEVER had a dog chew on things she wasn't supposed to. Strict discipline, combined with plenty of alternatives I think are key.

lol...dogs are like people - you can raise two the same way and they'll have personal preferences that make the react differently despite the same training and discipline. My dog, for example likes to lick...a lot! I wanted to name her Brandy(...because she'* a licker (get it? liquor? ) (I'll leave out the jokes that come to mind now! )
Never had a digger....
