The 5200 can run all the newest games but it does it poorly. It'* another budget card i hate to say it.
I have a 9600XT and it'll play all new games at a very playable speed at good image quality. I paid $100 @ best buy on turkey day sales. Much better then the normally priced $150 cards.
9700 Pro'* still go for a decent amount these days and they're 2 years old. They're still better then Cards with an MSRP under $150.

the fx5200 sucked straight up... some older cards with less memory out perform it.
the only advantage it has on the older cards is that it supports a newer direct x generation

All of the 5000 series cards sucked! This new one should be ok but as far as running the newest games, sure, but with all the settings at low.
