Just back tracking a bit to the bar-code label....
If you wanted to be really cool (or geeky) you could download a bar-code FONT.
That way if someone scanned your beer, it could read whatever you wanted.
Don't ask me where to get the font... the only places on the net I could find wanted you to pay for it.

I have software at work I use for laser control that produce barcodes and data matixes. I can make one there, then just do a screenshot. Thanks for the idea

Working on a couple easy ales to start with, working towards a good hefeweizen. Oregon has the highest microbrewery per capita than any other area, worldwide. Including one a block away. I can look down the street and see if they're open:
The white building with the window. The Oregon Trader. Great beer. I fill my jugs there occasionally. Notice the white car in the foreground. That'* my Green car.
Finished the labels on my bottles for my own batch:
The neck says "It may taste like total crap" on the left side of the logo, and "But at least it'* still beer" on the right side.
