C6 Vette
Some cool stuff...
The HUD on the C6 vette can record your maximum lateral acceleration for a driving session now. Navigation is an option (i'd never get it) Keyless entry and Ignition ALA XLR will be there as well. Seems they actually like the interior too...
New LS2 is 400 HP @ 6000 RPM, 4000 ft/lb @ 4400 RON. With a 6500 RPM Redline. the LS2 is bored from 99-101.6mm, and the compression is raised to 10.9:1.
C/D estimates 0-60 around 4.3, the weight should be about the same, suspension is even better then the c5. HID lights are standard,
The Z06 rumors flying around are dry sump lubrication, and TONS of lightweight improvement, such as frame pieces like aluminum side rails, and other replaced pieces. Power out of the next gen LS6 (LS7 maybe?) will be around 500HP, viper, and GT killing range.

Yup, HID works better in those lamps, and the original vettes didn't have popups. No more air brakes....

Check out the front fenders, they are more pinched then the c5, A LOT like the old stingrays
The more I look at it, the more I like it. And when i see one in real life for the first time, i'll be set for sure.

Yup Pete! P245/40zr-18 fronts and P285/35zr-19 rears.
Standing 1/4 (estimate) 12.7 seconds
0-100 (estimate) 10.0 seconds
Top speed (drag limited) about 180.
The Z06 engine is supposed to be a 3 valve Pushrod design as well. the LS2 is a 364 CID engine.
