personally I dont care one way or another who the people in power fell need be the next in the hot seat they shall have, just my opinion on the matter its all over rated personally I think we need a direct vote change the system then I might care more about it all untell then I'll just make do with what we get

I don't know the nitty gritty of day to day life under President Bush, but when I see American jobless stats, I cringe...its really sad, thats a drain on your social system, and your taxes pay for that social system.

One party ends up cleaning up after the previous parties' administrative agenda. I'm sorry, but I look at George and see gun totint-shoot-first-ask-questions-later and its embarassing for North America. Frankly, Britian needs to grow some balls and Tony Blair needs to walk too, this "do or die follow George hurts credibility

I look at the American political scene from a distance, I get the "macro" view, Americans get the "micro" view of day to day life.

Anyway, your taxes are very low in the US compared to Canada, I make $40 500 gross per year and I'm taxed 33%, plus gas tax, federal GST and provincial sales tax on all purchases.

But!! I haven't seen a very good Kerry platform for this election either, his campaign is so Anti-Dubya that he doesn't seem to remember he is running for President, what is his plan for America. After all, Kerry supported the war against Iraq and sided on many Republican "poilicies" in the House

Neither. Personally i think we need a three party system at least. The reason we are losing jobs is not becuase of president Bush though. Trans-National corpernations are the problem. They exploit workers in other, mostly third world countries so they don't have to pay them much. Why, Becuase cutting labor costs raises profits. And for a corperation to succeed they need to make more and more profits every year. It'* not enough just to stay nutral.

Why is this happening in the Bush administration. Timing. At the end of the internet boom, we lost a lot of jobs. Many corperations have reached the point to where they cannot make huge profits, and employ many people in the US. Why pay someone $10 bucks and hour to make shirts when you can pay someone 30cents. What needs to happen is containment of these Trans-National organization. Make them play their employee'* the equivilate to the standard of living that would be made in the US. You can pay them less, but they should have as much income as us in relation to the market.

Personally i think that it'* as important for someone in Argentina to have a job as it is for someone in the United States. "All humans are created equal" I think everyone should have equal oppretunity. They should get fairly for their work though. This would probibly bring some jobs back to the US, but at least our friends in Argentina will have enough money to feed their family.

So to me it'* not the President that'* the problem. It'* the legislation and the corperations.
For example, Bush and Iraq. No there was no sufficent evidence that came up after we attaced. But i'd be willing to bed that the same intelligence individuals that worked for Clinton are working for Bush. (i have no way of proving this, if anyone know.. tell me i'm wrong ...lol) Bush can't go over there, fly the spy plane, desifer the pictures, and decide to go to war. He has to make his decisions baised on what he is told by individuals under him.

God knows i'm not the best speller, but at least i know a little something.

Lets try not to label "Democrats" and "Republicans". Don't just use it as a word, let'* discuss the specific people, not just attack a whole side.

U are right the bush administration kept george tenant as the head of the cia from the clinton administration. I dont like either candidate i personally would have rather seen john edwards stay in just because i havent heard as much dirt on him as i have kerry. Kerry seems to follow the money all of the time and i dont think he would stand up on anything. Although i dont blame bush for the bad economy, sometimes i wonder about his sincerity. If he is so concerned about foreigners coming into our country to do us wrong, then why is he trying to give free and sometimes undeserved citizenship to millions of illegal mexicans, could it be votes. Maybe he isnt any better than kerry in that all he cares about money and power. Sometimes i think he cares but most times i dont know what to make of him. did u know that 30 percent of all illegal mexicans get some kind of government assitance and 50 percent of all legal mexicans are on welfare. All of this while we are leading a world wide war and our economy is crap and the social security fund is set to run out in under 40 years

sorry, I just love the fact that this is the first election I get to vote in and my second act as a legal US voter! I was brought up in a family that sees voting as a responsiblity and I'm glad I finally get to participate. In my opinion, if you don't vote and could've-you can't complain-you didn't do anything to push your views (now, taking in account our Canada members...you can't vote so blah...outside opinions are okay).

And as my view (and I think most of this has been said): It takes more than one man to run a country. Checks and balances keep every part of the government accountable and not in total control, so think about the things that have happened that you don't like...It took more then the President, it took the House, the Senate-democrates, republicans, independents...just consider that point.

Bus had my vote until recently. His performance after 9/11, the war, etc. I thought he did a good job on them all.

But his actions lately have really ticked me off, and seem to be pushing the country in a direction I don't wanna go. Don't know that Kerry will be any better, tho....
