Nice to know the plastic kept the moisture out. And that it was a watertight vault.

They might as well bury it again and never unearth it. I'd feel let down if I waited decades to see that unveiled.

MMMMHMMM. Might as well have just tossed a glad bag over it and said, YES! ITS AIRTIGHT!

I wonder if it'll run, i bet it will....just give it an oil change, new air filter, clean the carb and get some of the crap off the engine and it'll probably run! Looks like the rear suspension gave way tho lol

Why wouldn't some of the cyliders be open to atmosphere thru the valves and carb?
I bet some of the cyliders are so rusty the whole thing is a write off.

Really it'* not that bad to me. For having sat in water for who knows how many years I would expect to see a lot of holes in the body from rot. The engine obviously needs to be rebuilt along with the interior and any hoses and such, but it looks like a good restoration candidate. But it would have been cool to see it looking like a nice unrestored car. I don't know why in the world they would do that and not make absolutely sure the vault was air/water tight. It shouldn't have been that hard to come up with something better than just a slab of concrete.
