Bum Dogs
One huge difference I have noticed here in Chile is that there are no street bums on the street begging for money.
Just Bum Dogs.
That'* what the locals call them......and they are everywhere, sleeping during the day right in the middle of busy sidewalks or off to the side against buildings or near the street gutters.
They are all so sad looking.
No one bothers them and they don't seem to bother anyone but they do stop when you are eating at the many open air restaurant tables.
The biggest problem with them is the clumps they leave that you have to watch out for.
