if you can do it, do it!

If I were to put Corvette badges on this ricer, they'd be overglorified and completely not reflective of anything that'* inside. I think I'll have an AMD Inside sticker as well now that I think about it.

Those plastic spinners are too expensive for the ricer project. I'm going to buy gold spray paint, tape off some steelie sections, and let 'er rip! I hope the paint bubbles from brake heat.

better yet paint the rims while they are on the car so over spray gets allover the brakes ect. and "accidentally" get some paint on the tires

I think you should use the rattle can chrome shtuff. That'd look ghetto-rice and a half.

I'm torn between gold and chrome. I think gold should prevail because it'* just so much more tacky when fake.

For the wing, find a kid'* plastic picnic bench. Put deadbolts in the doors (not neccessarily functional)

For hood closures, use slidebolts --

Ah, yes! Now we've got some ideas flowing. I definitely want to do an old school monitor in the dash, and all these crazy external mods should do.

I can't believe I forgot to mention this! When I got the idea about a year ago, I couldn't stop laughing hysterically at this picture:

For the head unit, I've got a very old home stereo I'll hook up with a power inverter. Since I've already got plans for a B&W TV in the center console, or instead of it, this should do as well. Maybe I'll hook up this:

It sounds really good, but the head unit puts out slight static and has a small paper woofer (a speaker, practically) on the bottom. Would it look too fancy?

I threw a Folgers can onto my dad'* two-door cavalier a few years back, and he drove it to work without noticing it. Once parked though, he was severely mocked.

I think that this is a great project. It should be a subtle mocking of their subculture, but not too over-the-top.

I especially like the random sticker part. The random Asian characters should say something to the effect of "All your base are belong to us", or "Can you read this?"

I think a '92-99 Bonneville spoiler would look excellent mounted on the front of the hood, or the roof.

Consider making yourself some simulated massive, drilled, slotted, brake rotors. You know, the ones that just sandwich behind the wheel and cover your drums. Those would really set off the gold painted steelies.

For a little exterior bling, don't forget to use some aluminum foil and contact cement. I don't care where, but do it somewhere. Maybe the bottom 1/4 of the car, or a single stripe down the middle of the car.

Pull the front fenders out an inch or so at the rear, for that "wide body" look.

A roll of aluminum flashing will go a long way in making random scoops and air dams.
