I can't believe it. This guy already has plans on making this place ZM East'* headquarters. I dunno nothing though.
Still on pins and needles. Tomorrow is closing, and the title company still does not have the package from the bank. If this contract is lost because of the bank, I lose my earnest money (about 1500). To which I will be more than happy to sue the bank for. But I was assured by the processor that all is good, the package will be fedexed and o'ernighted for tomorrow. It damn well better be here tomorrow.

LMAO!!
But seriously, banks like to wait until the last minute. It doesn't give you time to notice any errors or purposeful mistakes in their paperwork. Do yourself a favor and bring a calculator to the closing. Take the time to check out anything that seems fishy. I only mention this because two out of three of my personal closings included screw ups by the bank. Not suprisingly, all in their favor....hmmmmm....

What exactly should I be looking for? Remember all of my closing costs are paid by the seller, so if anybody needs to be double checking, it'* the sellers. But if there are any other things I need to look out for, now would be the time to spout them out. Remember, this is my first time buying a home, and I am really not all that schooled on how banks screw people over. Except when it comes to car loans. I know those tricks pretty good by now

How much paper work and number crunching have you seen thus far?
Before I bought my home I saw all of the numbers over and over again.. When I went to closing I paid exactly what I was told I was going to pay... all of the charges and such matched up.. Right down to the total figures..
I would just keep a sharp eye on anything that may look to be out of the ordinary
And having the seller pay the closing costs/fees is a good thing..

Inspection report showed nothing majorly wrong, just a few minor glitches that have now been corrected.
I got an email. Seems like all is go, at least at the moment. Tonight is going to be a very rough night. Tylenol PM is going to be my bestest friend.

Brad, sorry for the delayed response.
At this point the major thing you need to be assured of is that the mortgage is calculated correctly, percentage wise. And that any points or other fees you are responsible for are correct. It'* certainly in your favor that the seller is paying all the closing costs, though, as that is the biggest potential area for add-ons.
Of course, by this time today, you may be closing or have already closed.
In any case, Good Luck!
