My two older daughters were at a dance workshop in Mesa, so I went over to Thomas' house yesterday, to do final clean-up and tool exchange Ben came over as well to assist in changing the oil and front brakes on Thomas' Vette. At Thomas' the rain was falling but no snow.
I remember talking to Bill and Pat at about 5:30 and it was 39* at my house according to the Bonneville temp sensor. I can see the snow on the foothills surrounding the metro area and I hear that East Mesa still has snow on the ground this morning.

Hahahaha....Ben has already been through one Arizona summer. His blood has already thinned. He'll be a sissy in no time

I think I'm officially becoming sissified!
Naw, it wasn't that bad. However, yesterday I was down at Thomas' house in Chandler helping do some work on the Corvette, when I got a call from my wife saying it was snowing in Glendale! I almost didn't believe her, because at the time it was sunny and in the 50'* down in Chandler. I walked outside and looked up north, and sure enough there was a huge cumulonimbus cloud over the northern part of the valley. After that, it didn't take long for the cold air to swoop in and the wind to blow. It was the equivalent of a nasty March or April day in Iowa, which is still no fun for being outside. I'm glad today dawned clear and crisp
