Bah...we're making a veggie bake (which, btw is freakin awesome) as a part of the second thanksgiving meal I will be enjoying with my girlfriends' side of the family today.

Anyway, one of the steps is to boil the carrots, broccoli and cauliflower before its baked with cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheese and breadcrumbs. I dunno, but cooked cauliflower emits a terrible stink :?

...off to Febreeze and light every scented candle I own

MMMMM. Sounds delicious.

We are having porcupine meatballs, mashed potatoes, corn, wheat toast, and pop for dinner today for dinner. Yum.

That does sound good to eat, but I know what you mean about the smell. Cabbage is similar. My wife makes a dish called fried cabbage, which isn't really fried and includes meat and other vegetables, and tastes delicious. However, while she'* originally cooking the cabbage, it'* nasty smelling.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

tsk tsk...that was just a side dish! Of course we had turkey and the usual trimmings! This veggie bake is one of the "trimmings"
