This is what happens when you are 1.5 hours away from home and don't wanna spend the night and only have 1/4 tank of gas. And yes that is the little ( you have no more gas moron!) light that is on.

made it home and that was this morning trying to get gas, then I saw this

and another station, look above the cars to the right and you can just barely see the sign

About that time I heard a voice in my head say "Screw you guys I'm going home!" in cartmans voice.

Went home and "borrowed" gas from the lawntractor

I'm glad we didn't lose power here. People here can't drive with operating lights.

And as for gas, well, that'* never much of a problem...

Blackout was good times! lol

I went out for a cruise in the pitch black, in my pitch black bonne! It was so neat, you couldn't see any buildings, or street lights. Just the outline of the roads. All you could see ahead of you was the short distance your headlights would light up. And as soon as you hit the high beams all the signage would explode in a triumphant explosion of light.

I kinda wanted it too last longer, if we had some means of protecting or food stuffs.

We didn't get power for 19 hours after we lost it. And so far haven't lost it yet. So you people only losing power for 4 hours, shhhhhhhhh It was freaking 39C with the humidex today. So nasty.

I was out in the backyard celebrating my 18th birthday when we lost the juice. It'* the birthday I'll NEVER forget!

Here'* what played out on thursday a lil afrer 4pm in most peoples minds....

"Uh oh, something happened, time to make a gas run..."

WHY!?!?! 9/11 was bad enough, i felt sorry for the people running with empty tanks on normal driving who needed to fill up. $5 is outrageous. Yet another reason to fill up around 1/4 tank on normal driving.

Anyways, the power went out, and i'm glad you guys made the best of it. And who cares what the media says, they need a big story, haven't had much since the end of the war, save for cali'* govenor race, but that'* just a bunch of BS created by the media too..

Happy belated B-day Brad..... must have been some party.
Good thing it wasn't your 19th b-day.... or cold beer might have been in short supply.
