Best operating system for home?
Make it quick.....I'm upgrading today. Should it be XP or 2000 pro?? Currently running ME.
Oh, if you guys don't hear from me for awhile, you'll know why.

Unknown. Bootleg copy. Tell me the difference, and why you'd pick 2k over xp? I want the least hassle in upgrade. I think I have to flash my bios for either. I know I do for XP. I have the disk for the flash already.

I just found my missing xp pro CD. Looks like that'* the way I'll go. I just don't relish the fact that I have to flash my bios. Weather is good right now, so no risk of power outages. I hope.

there are not much differences between xp home and pro just support for multi processors amd pro slows the total amount on speed that you can get on the net saves 20% of band width. I would recomend XP or 98se. You should not need to flash your bois for XP but I do not know what you are running
