Ok, the boo-boo on his jowls is from chewing on a plastic knife. Idiot.
The girls and I took him for a walk along the Corvallis riverfront (where we spent
one hot sunday for WCBF 04 last year). The slack in the leash never changes.
He paces himself by the speed or cadence of the footsteps of the person holding
the other end of the leash, even with the confusion of all 3 of us walking together
with him. His ears are always to the rear, and he'* slightly ahead of the leash
holder.
How the hell does he determine who'* footsteps are who'*, and how does he
adjust his speed based on what he hears? Kim tried to mess him up by speeding
up and slowing down, and couldn't do it.

He'* that trained and can walk with you like that, and all the good stuff, but gets hurt while attempting to eat plastic? j/k
Nice shot! I guess it'* almost impossible to get that shot without being in it from that angle.

No. I can tell you from experience that if you advertise you have an expensive dog, someone could decide that they deserve it more than you do. Coming home and finding your dog gone is not a pleasant experience.
We had a beautiful Siberian Husky stolen once. Expensive dog just disappeared one day....
