Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better
That song is now playing in Jessica'* head! She is in a hockey school here and she is the ONLY girl. She is with boys who are Bantam and Miget players 14-17 year olds and who have been playing the game since they were little boys.
This is Jessica'* third year in hockey, this afternoon she did the dryland training and she beat 6 of the guys! Tonight at 8:45 she has ice time, and it will be hard, but it will be well worth the pain.
We are really proud of her, and she starts with her new team on Sunday, and she will be ready to go!

Congrats to her!
I know how tough hockey can be. I used to play up until i was about 12, then an old ankle injury flared up and it was too much to play
I had a girl on the team i was on and she was good. She showed up at lot of the guys on the team.
I miss defending that net

Well, my little girl did AWESOME!!! She never gave up once, and she even scored a goal! Yeppers, she scored a goal, one of only 5 players to score. The coaches took notice and razzed the guys who missed. It was a great thing to see.

LOL LOL LOL, Jessica just got home from another torture event called Puckmasters!!! She said that a person could tell who was in Puckmasters........they were all walking pretty slow She did okay tonight, no goals, but she worked hard. Some of the parents are grumbling because she is there, but oh well. She is not taking any ice time away from the boys.
Of course they will say nothing to me..........Don't mess with my kids
