I'm a huge Nascar fan, and personaly i don't like like Daytona, and dega. It was a little better this year with Nascar using the diffrent tire compound. But all they do is keep thier foot to the floor and wait for a huge wreck. It becomes about areodynamics instead of the driver. And Daytona is not even the fastest track becuase of the restricter plates. In Charlotte, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and all the other 1.5 mile tri-ovels they reach over 200 in the straits. I just perfore the short trac style of raceing... Bristol Rocks. I'm really excited this year, becuase not only to i get to go to my 10 or so Nascar races... I get to go to the Gran Prix of the US.... F1 baby......

Bristol is my favorite. I went to the night race a while back. It was amazing.
It sucks Daytona used the restrictor plates. However, if they didn't use em, the cars would be travelling at 220mph to 230mph, which could get ugly. It would be more competitive, but safety has gotten so strict now, that it'* just not possible.
All in all though, it was a good race. I look forward to next week.

Yeah if the weather is good i'll be heading down to rockingham. I go to all the Bristol races every year. It'* my favorite. It fun to go to the Busch race and sit about 5 rows up off of turn 4. Talk about some close action.
