Anyone looking for a long-term career?
I have just decided to add one person to my department. I am looking for someone with a marketing background, is willing to travel across the country, willing to talk infront of people, very presentable, able to entertain high end execs, as well as the construction trade (very different people).
We have gone internal within our company, and although there are good people, few are able to travel (for various reasons).
The position is at a Co-ordinator level. Good pay (Canadian), awsome company and benifits.
Anyone think they might fit the bill?

Toronto Based, large worldwide company, marketing, Construction industry, plumbing or manufacturing background would help...but not essential.
Recent marketing grad would be OK too.
Cant give too many details until we get closer to the right person.
Time...variable. By the end of Q1 2004 for sure...if not sooner for the right person. Reporting to me, the right person will be trained for advancement. Very, very low turn over in our company - most people come and stay.
We will be going to headhunters by the end of the month. I thought I would post here first to see if there is anyone that might (by chance) fit the ticket in the mean-time.

Though it sounds interesting, but Todd doesn't want to relocate out of the USA. The other person that I know lives in Chicago and he doesn't want to relocate either. Good Luck!

Might have someone for you...
Marketing degree from Guelph University, just quit a job with Tim Hortons doing new store integration...to much travel...
I will talk to him tomorrow...how much travel is involved...he is getting married in January, the Tim Hortons job took him away from home to much...just so I know what to tell him...
He is a good guy, 26, engaged to a very close girlfriend of mine

Talk to him and see if about 4-6 times a year for travel (few days here, few days there) would fit into his plans.
Let me know and then we can do the e-mail thing!

Left Jamie a voice mail...
I'm sure she will tell Dale and they'll get in touch with me...this may be a good opportunity for him.
I will keep you posted

Thanks...it is an awsome job...great company and the best thing of all...the whole marketing team really works well together (we have to be...a good portion of what we do is entertaining in the way of golf, shows, ski trips, private tours, etc.).
At most events there is quite a bit of lubrication that we join in, but we are still working while traveling...so there is quite a bit of self disipline that is needed too.
Keep me up to date.
Thanks again!
