1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA (auto) 0-60 in 7.1 1/4 mi in 15.5

GTA'* got the HO 305 which is 190hp instead of the 165 this one has, but being an auto that probably slows it down a little, plus this one has a steeper rear gear too. So they should be about the same which is what I figured. My first mod plans are headers, then probably a mild cam. After that I'd probably put fuel injection on it, then probalby heads but who knows how it will actually work out. I should be picking it up Sunday.

Give me the $ and I'll shove any of those engines you listed in there if you'd like, but on my budget it'll be getting another small block, and not for a while. I still have to have some money to spend on the STE, and my college isn't cheap either.

I think yellow is much more offensive

I'll be keeping the STE as long as I can. I gotta have something to drive in the winter, and that car just has so many little toys on it that I really enjoy driving it. (way more than like my Lumina or something)
