I hope you don't blame the game, it'* the person'* fault for having such weak will power and motivation. I played that game a lot and still got A'* in class and maintained my job. and I played that game a lot! (like 120days worth of time when I quit). The problem is WoW is just a likely outlet for people that have underlying problems like social issues, depression, or lack of motivation.

True to a point i used the time i spent playing wow while maintaining job to save money. 12 dollars a month is a lot less expensive then going out and drinking or to a movie every weekend. I played WoW for about 6 months something like 150-175 days played time and saved up enough money to pay all my debt and upgrade my old car. It was just a benefit that i didnt have to visit with the general public or get into trouble. But i do know people who are so hooked on MMO'* that they are ruining there lives.

I don't think you have your numbers right, you'd have to play WoW all day and most of the night for 6 months straight to get 150-175 days of played time. I'm talking about days as in amount of time logged in (so 120 days of played time means 2880 hours of time spent on the game playing)

Yeah I just started playing about 2 months ago. I gave the demo disc to my girlfriend and she has since gotten totally addicted to the game playing morning to night every day. She has lost her job due to it and has also told me she has met a guy online that has more in common with her than me and says she wants to end things with me. I only started playing so I could at least spend some time with her.
