Anyone got some old school computer memory?
I'm trying to put together a system for a friend who just started college, and she just needs something to do basic stuff with, instead of having to run to the lab anytime she wants to use a computer.
So basically I need some old school PC133 168-pin SDRAM.
The system has 3 slots and currently has a whopping 128 mb, comprised of 64, 32, 32.
My stockpile has been used up by similar projects in the past, and all I have left is a bunch of 32s.
The system will be running XP Pro...go ahead and laugh, but its the only OS I had to put on there. Its actually not as painfully slow as you would think for basic stuff, Ive used it a little bit.
I think its a PC133 board, its a 700mhz CPU, so that would seem to be about right.
I guess anything 64mb or above would be considered. Im looking to get this on the cheap, surely someone needs to clean out a drawer or something, pay shipping maybe? I hate lowballing people, but I dont want to spend tons of money on this project.

Thanks to those who are currently looking, and thanks sonoma for that link, I shot out a couple PMs to people in it.
I can feel the wheels turning on this project haha.
