Alternative Income Ideas?
Has anyone here donated plasma for money? Theres a place thats 2 blocks away from here that u can donate plasma for $. Like what have u all had to, how long it took, was it painful? Was it worth the money u got?
Some other things I do is seperate my aluminum cans and bring em down for a little green. And mowing lawns.
Who here has any ideas I can bring more money in???

Get the hell out of foods. You get stuck there, and think that'* the best you can do. Go into sales, maybe Best Buy or Circuit City. That looks great on a resume, hell, look at me, I went from part time, hourly wage at best buy to full time at the leading Nissan dealership in Ohio!

Arent you under 18? You may have to be a legal adult to donate plasma, but Im not sure about that.
If you have a junkyard nearby you might scavenge parts and resell them on Ebay or something like that.
The season for it is kinda dwindling down, and its probably hard to get jobs by now, but I used to make decent money mowing lawns on the side. If you already have the equipment and can keep your jobs in the same general area, the overhead costs arent too bad at all.

You have a world of resources available to find the job that best suits you.
www.AJB.dni.us This is what most of the unemployment offices use, along with some of their own resources.
And then there are the standard job listings:
www.careerbuilders.com
www.monster.com
www.hotjobs.com
www.salary.com - gives you an idea on how much you *should* be making, given the area and experience you bring to the table.
And then there is always the service. It straightened me out and helped me get to where I am today

plasma
as far as the plasma question goes...I donate blood and plasma all the time but not for cash....cant tell you how it pays but I can tell you that plasma is the easier of the two IMHO, smaller needle and they put your fluids back after they seperate the plasma from it. Never timed it but I think blood is quicker. I dont have a problem with needles so I find the whole process kinda relaxing...but thats just me..
