Default Airborne cold tablets

Anybody else try them??
I tried it today and my body just pretty much laughed at me.
I might have to go to the doctors for this one..

Haven't tried them, but have friends that swear by them (including a few nurses).

Personally, I'm hooked and swear by Alka-Seltzer Plus cold medicine. Nothing clears you up faster.

I'll try Airborne next time around though.

My wife and I both used Airborne for our last round of colds. If you take the whole tube of tablets at the regular intervals recommended, you might be surprised. I was rid of my cold in a few short days, as opposed to my normal 1-2 week colds. I'm definitely using it again next time to verify the results.

The only warning I've seen is that you end up taking a TON of vitamin C through the course of a treatment, which may be bad for your body.

<--- Pharmacy Assistant

Airborne is a combination of natural extracts and vitamins (Mostly Vitamin C). It may help prevent a cold, but does not help you get over it once you have it.

I personnaly use it...

Well I did go to the doctors today. It turns out I have a virus. So maybe thats why it didn't make a difference.

All Airborne does is boost your immune system a bit, which is why it says to take upon FIRST signs of a cold. After you have it...

I use it now before flying. I've caught too much crap from airplane trips.

CFoote lives on the stuff. Like mentioned..it'* a preventative, not a cure.

You want a shorter cold, get Zicam be warned that if you get the chewables..there'* no way a human can chew and swallow that w/o drinking something to get it down. (ok..maybe Andrew might be able to pull it off) It removes all moisture from your mouth and you are not supposed to drink anything for 15 minutes afterwards.

I don't know if that is the same stuff I tried. What I tried was made my a school teacher but it didn't work. I've also tried Zicam- doesn't work. What works for me is Echinacea and Vitamin C. I swear by it!!!

Yeah, a school teacher came up with Airborne.

BTW, Airborne has both Vit C and Echinacea in it, plus some other known immune system boosts.

EDIT: Don't forget that, as in many other medicines, it helps if you believe that what you are doing works. The power of suggestion truly does work. Then there'* chicken soup...

I take the Vit C and Echinacea independently. The airborne may not carry as much as I take but I swear my way works- for me at least.
