Yup went to price tires today for Bone Evil :(
BFG kwds 255/50/R17....$271 each
Aluminum balance......$19.99 each
Short air valves.......$5.50 each
fed tax
prov tax
enviroment disposal fee
Total $1384 out the door.
Think I'll just pack the tires and rims on my back down to the border, drop $600us and bring em back

You learned the trick on SuperEvil last year. Buy your tires in Oregon. No sales tax, and far cheaper. Just call and order in advance.
How much did you save on your truck tires? 6-800 or something?

Here, canadian tire, when tires purchased you can add a few more dollars not much to get free repairs and if the tire is unrepairable you get a new tire and the only charge for that tire is to get the insurance again which i think is only 14 dollars

That quote was from Kal Tire, very popular out west eh.
Oh sure I'll call around yet, might even save $40 or $45 ....maybe?
My point of the post is what Bill said, I saved $800 last summer buying my truck tires in Corvallis than getting them here.
When it comes to car parts the States has us beat hands down.
Firewood on the other hand is free here and they want $8 at the koa in Corvallis for a grocery bag full.
Hey!!! I'll drive down with a load of blocks and trade for some new skins
