You have your beliefs about what happened, but don't base all your rebuttals on one video. Rodriquez isn't the only witness! There are HUNDREDS of witnesses that reported explosions. I've watched countless videos of these witnesses.
Several even described them in the same exact manner:
"It was like gunfire....bang bang bang bang bang bang...then 3 big explosions."
The gunfire certainly is descriptive of demolition. And as they come down the numerous rapid explosions become one loud rumble. You're right that you would hear explosions at the time of a collapse, but AFAIK there is no video with AUDIO (that I've found) that is in range of WTC 7 to hear the building collapsing. Most are from news stations several city blocks away, and because people were moved from the area. They were told it was coming down.
But Silverstein told them to bring it down. Because you haven't heard of the term "pull it" doesn't mean Silverstein isn't familiar with it. I never heard of the term until now either. I am trying to see how "pull it" could have meant "pull the firefighters" but it really doesn't make sense IMO.
However, if he meant pull out the firefighters (or pull them from the area, because I doubt they were INSIDE the building), it still shows he knew the building was going to come down. He claims they said "we don't think we can contain the fires" so he said "the smartest thing to do was pull it and we watched the building collapse."
People were told to clear the area because 7 was coming down. Explosions were heard. No one could have ever predicted the towers would collapse even after planes hit them, even the towers' architects, yet somehow they knew 7 would collapse due to moderate fires when no plane hit it? :?
I know it is technically my opinion without proof, though an educated opinion, but all of this shows that it was known for a fact that the building was going to collapse. And to believe that fires as minor as they were caused a 47-story steel-framed building to literally disintegrate in less than 10 seconds is extremely hard to swallow me, but more importantly, by professional engineers.
Is this enough for me to prove anything? Nope. But it sure is enough for me to doubt it wasn't demolished.

Oops, I was posting while this was locked.
Brian, IDK about anyone else, but you haven't pissed me off. I may not agree 100% with what you think happened, but I'm just debating the issue.
