I've used 3 different calculators, input as you typed it, answer, 288.

I feel stupid now. Sad thing is I got A'* in my math classes.

I answered 288 because of the way I did it.
48÷2(9+3) brackets first
48÷2(12) then go from left to right
24(12) then again
288

Funny thing is when it was set-up like a fraction in the pic xtremerevolution posted, I got 2.

48/(2(9+3))

I guess we didn't do the Order of Operations right. Can't believe I forgot that. I haven't taken a math class in 8 years.
