That cobalt SS vs SRT-4 is basically a drivers race. They've dyno'd 215ish Wheel HP so far.

Why not the SRT-8 vs the STS-V comparo in performance, They're both domestics, similar is size, and performance. The 7 series isnt about pure muscle as either of those. The STS is more of a 5 series sedan IMO, and that'* what i've seen it compared against.

Frankly a 7 series is a drivers car thru and thru, it has a real manual, AMAZING engines, is sophisticated, yet simple, and flat out HANDLES.

I'm sorry but I don't buy it. Chrysler has their "innovative" technology. In 1993 they advertised their "ultradrive" auto tranny as being the most advanced in the world. Hahahahahaha.... we all know the truth to that. Just wait, 5 years down the line those SRT-8'* won't break the 15'* because they will have so much sludge built up in their engines. Then they will fail and i'll laugh and say, " I told you so". Sorry to sound like an a$$, but I remember the hype with the 1993 Intrepid, you know the biggest POS ever. All that ultradrive, autostick, and cab forward was a fallasy. If in 5 years i'm wrong, i'll formally apologize. Somehow, I find i'll be right. The Chrysler marketing team has it all figured out, don't fall into their trap.

The article about the cobalt and srt4 was in this months Motor Trend, I think they did a wonderful job going into detail about the 2 cars, definitely answered alot of questions people had about how these 2 cars shake down against each other. Also I saw a commerical last night for the new Charger. Has anyone seen this commercial yet? Looks similar to the 300C, I just hope for chrysler'* sake they dont charge an arm and a leg for the Charger like they do with all there other vehicles.

I dunno, up here in Canada, the prices aren't bad at all. Definately cheaper than say, a brand-new Bonneville, and the 300C is several thousand cheaper than a GXP.

Im just going by whats on the websites; chrysler.com and pontiac.com

Hemi powered 300C is over 34K, yea the bonne gxp is around 36K, but the GP is priced alot lower with a new GXPcoming in under 30K. Ive heard the V6 300'* arent that great.
