And oh yeah meeting up with Gonneville was a good time as well. He reversed my impression of what the typical trucker acts and talks like

Best car memories this year.
July 19th weekend DEFINETLY the highlight of my summer. The only bonneville involvement was driving from my apartment to my parents house.. And that'* all I wanted!
And tracking it on a speedway, railing on 30 degree banking, meeting TONS of owners, seeing over 100 cars, 2 GM trailers, picking the brains of a GM kappa platform engineer, and being able to share my love of cars with my parents, and help them get into a hobby they can take into their later years.
The fun part was not trying to dodge in and out of traffic in the KC Metro area in a 4cyl/auto Camry, as two Solsti are zipping around between the different freeways we were on, and avoiding traffic, etc.
Aug 10th - I'm back baby!
And Andrew - when you posted pix from moving John in, you said..
Not true, i got pix of it at the second ever MN meet... LONG before you!

Other great memories, All the meets, NEBF, CEBF, ONBF, the Ohio MiniBF.
I lost some stuff at NEBF and sent my folding chair on a wild ride, got my rockers and met Chubby Checker at CEBF, took top honors at ONBF with a Best In Show, and got incredibly lost with Pete and Cody on the way to the Ohio miniBF.
I watched Tracy wreck a chair and Amanda, saw Randy do the Hurricane, pushed Gumby down Bill'* steps, almost got us all tossed out of the junkyard, drove FrankenBonnie, put a dent in the KOA'* pool, went frog-hunting with Ethan, watched my car eat Todd, made a plushie **** with Barney and Nate'* walrus, came within .02 seconds of the 14s, had a truly disgusting in-car conversation with Tracy, Bandit, and my Bro, laughed like hell at some freak howling across a marina, was amazed at how civilized Canadians have become, celebrated Lisa'* B-Day, saw the world'* worst tourist trap, watched a member get yelled at by a draw-bridge operator, drove JimW'* Aurora(Nice!), got a concussion from Tracy'* ceiling, got sniffed by her dog, swore until I was blue in the face at my wiring, commiserated over a hopeless BMW, almost had a heart attack when the Potato-head said he was paralyzed, mourned the Red Deer and Frank'* SSE, among others, and cheered to myself when Hans got his check and Ben got his trans.
All in all, it'* been a great year, with a few really bad lows. We came through it all with flying colors, more of a family than we were before, and I can't wait to see what shenanigans we'll get up to next year.

Ahh, the year 2006, I'm saddened to say goodbye to that year. It was the best year I've ever experienced. That was when I took a big step towards improving my social skills and self-esteem.
I joined in Dec 2005 and took my first road trip to a Bonniefest in April 2006. I loved it even though I couldn't stay very long and my dad constanly harped on my speed, "Too fast, too close, too fast, tooooooooooo fast!" Upon my arrival at NEBF I was geniunely amazed at how accepting the BC gang was. They spoke directly to me like I was normal, I truly appreciated that. I appreciated how Boosty just started talking to me and teaching me a coupla things. I was warmed when Tracy just hugged me even though we never met each other before and just brought me around the house showing me who is who and where is where and who to avoid... That was a memorable experience I'll never forget and hope to return.
I met up with Gonneville aka brian. Again, I was amazed at how accepting he was. He invited me to a GOGP meet but I couldn't attend. Then he invited me to a junkyard run (My very first one! ) I loved it, I had a blast.
then along came CEBF, I was only able to come for the last day since I was in Canada. Again, same thing as NEBF, incredibly accepting. I met Travis, Todd, Brian again, Rob, Ryan, etc. I took a ride in Big Bad, woww...and 8-ball (I felt my eyes meet my brain...) I also met the Import Dude and rode in Tampon (his car since it'* called Maxipad) Impressive also...
I geniunely consider BC part of my family, not a internet family but a real family, I would gladly welcome them here...
Thank you BC, now I've LIVED...

What a Year 2006 was. January found me at a GM dealers lot getting my near new LaCrosse CXL fixed and driving away with my new GXP. Several days later I found the BC Club searching for performance info for it.
By February I had Club induced mod fever and all hell broke loose. LOL Soon I had dumped $20k more into it and GXP Venom was created. A three tone Blood Red Candy Paint, Alpine Stereo, Kicker SubWoofer, Custom Wheels, Neon Light Kit, Zex Nitrous Injection, Laser lit Nitrous Purge, State of the art Digital controlled Air Hydraulics, Chrome Air Tank and Fire extiguasher, etc. By May I won COTM here in the Club and First Place at the Carlilse Custom Show. August found the Venom as the featured car in Domestic Driver. By October I got engaged to a Vetrinarian I meet at a Custom Car Show.
It wasnt all uphill, By2006 I was severly addicted to synthetic herion for old leg injuries. and intensifying it with alot of beer. and in June I got caught street racing thru a school zone. I have since dried out and getting thru my legal problems. The BC Club had alot to do with my recovery, giving me something to do with my time, teaching me about computers, giving me the incentive to modify my car, and without doing that I would not have met my fiance. Specials Thanx are in order to Sings Country for making long winter nite chats fun, Will Wren for putting up with and encouraging me, Haro Freak for being forgiving and supportive, and Bill Boost for befriending me. And alot more thank you'* to a host of great members ( My two typing fingers are getting tired) I seen my car build posted by DJ with broken links so here is some of the change.
