Ottawa at Philadelphia 5-1 (win Ottawa) Senators win the series 4-2

Minnesota at Vancouver 7-2 (win Minnesota)

Dallas at Anaheim 4-3 (win Anaheim) Ducks win the Series 4-2

The Eastern conference finals sets up like this (1) Senators at (2) Devils

The Western Conference will face (7) Ducks vs winner of (4) Canucks vs (6) Wild

hee hee, and I managed to pick another match up series winner and number of games...lookin good for my hockey pool...ca-ching $$$

Thats OK Gord, the Wild deserved everything they got tonight...likewise so did the Canucks...took a pouding.

Well, I picked the 'nucks in six, but can't rule out the Wild, I have to admit tho, this was the WORST game I have seen the Canucks play in a LONG LONG time

Give all the credit to the Wild...

Oh and Anahiem...off to the Western Conference Finals

May 7th update

Vancouver at Minnesota 5-1 (win Minnesota)

Series is tied....game 7 will be a dandy

Damn Canucks...its time to show the Wild some respect and get out and freakin take game seven. And I can't blame Cloutier for this one. The team ahead of him is playin like absolute garbage.

Woo HOO!

There are two planes headin' back to Vancouver tonight.

Wild win game 6 with a score of 5-1

Now the question is who will win game 7, the game that wasn't supposed to be.

Despite my need for the Canucks to win...both from my heart and for my hockey pools, I need the 'nucks to take it.

But....the Wild are on a roll, my early prediction

Annie vs Minney for the West and Sens vs Devs for the East.

Ugh...I loathe that thought, next time I post here, it better be regarding a Canuck win

May 8th update

Minnesota at Vancouver 4-2 (win Minnesota) Wild win the series 4-3

West conference finals pits Anaheim at Minnesota and East features Ottawa vs. New Jersey

All the credit to the Wild...what a season and it keeps rolling along. As a CDN I have to cheer for Ottawa now. If you asked anyone..not one person would have potted MIN vs. ANA

And the WILD set a NHL record by winning 2 back to back serries after being down 3-1 against Vancouver. Gotta give the Canucks credit for putting up a fight.
