Yep! One more win on the road and The Devils can bring Thee Cup home with them again. It was a great game(esp. if you like high scores).

I agree...Giguare (sp?) played awesome for the whole playoffs. Especially in the first 2 series. Just curious, what is the record for shutouts in one playoff? Didn't Broduer get 7!

Brodeur had at least 6...or 7...one hell of a lot that for sure. Giguere deserved the Conn Smythe,

Brodeur played well enough to win it, but he didn't play consistantly well enough, Giguere was a rock in net for Anny, but they got nothing to be ashamed about, they had a fantastic year. I was pulling for Stumpy Thomas and Paul Kariya....not to many players like Kariya who stick with their club and play through the good and the bad.

One thing that pissed me off was NJ fans booing Giguere after getting the Conn Symthe, there is such a thing as a bad winner. In all fairness is was a toss up between point leader Jamie Langenbrunner and JS Giguere
