This place is great! Hello all-
Hi everybody -
I've been reading this site for a while, and even registered a while ago, just haven't gotten around to introducing myself yet, anyway-
My name is Daniel, I'm 22, I live in a little town in north eastern Utah called Morgan. I bought a '88 Bonnie LE a couple of months ago for $1,375. It has 120k on the odometer and is really clean, in and out, just a really well kept car. I love it, think it is a great car, runs and drives fantastic.. Oh, by the way, it'* my first car, too.
Well, I don't consider myself any kind of expert on cars, but between this website and the Haynes/Chilton manual I've been able to do all my own troubleshooting and work on my car. I've had to clean the IAC, test and swap the ignition coil pack and then the same with the ICM, replaced the thermostat, new plugs, new battery, and last but not least, changed the oil/filter.
Thank you all for putting together such a great forum. It'* helped me a lot, you guys seem to be really knowledgeable.
I'll try to post pics of the car when I figure out how and get the film developed (am I the last guy without a digital camera?)
